MSC cruises from New York: what changed and what to book instead

MSC has no sailings on this schedule. Cruise NYC's July 2026 plan for the Brooklyn terminal says "As of April 2026, MSC no longer calls in New York". The official berthing calendar still shows one later call, in November 2026, so this guide gives both.

Does MSC sail from New York?

MSC no longer sails from New York as a regular service. Cruise NYC says MSC Meraviglia stopped calling at Brooklyn on 19 April 2026, ending weekly year-round sailings that began in 2023. The official calendar shows one more MSC call, at Manhattan on 8 November 2026, on a 24-day one-way voyage from Livorno to Miami.

The calendar shows no MSC ship after that through 22 December 2027. The plan and the calendar are both Cruise NYC's, and they differ only on that one call. This site lists no MSC sailings.

Does MSC sail from Brooklyn?

No, MSC no longer sails from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. Cruise NYC's Brooklyn plan says MSC began operating there in spring 2023 and that MSC Meraviglia no longer calls at the terminal as of 19 April 2026. The one later MSC call on the official calendar is at Manhattan, not Brooklyn.

Does MSC's website still show cruises from New York?

MSC's US website still has a New York port page, with general text about cruises from New York in 2026, but its own search found no cruises leaving New York on 30 October 2026. The same search for Miami did return cruises.

Go by the search result and not the page text. A port page can stay online after the ships have gone.

Where does MSC Meraviglia sail now?

MSC's page for MSC Meraviglia, read on 30 October 2026, lists Caribbean cruises from Miami and European sailings, naming Barcelona and Southampton. New York does not appear on that page.

What can you book instead of MSC from New York?

Norwegian Bliss's 8-night Bahamas trip from Manhattan is the closest match to MSC's last New York cruise. Cruise Industry News reported that trip as 7 nights with Nassau, Port Canaveral and Ocean Cay. Norwegian Bliss calls at Port Canaveral, Great Stirrup Cay and, on most dates, Nassau.

Fares are starting fares per person for the cheapest cabin, with taxes and fees included, and they are read again every day. The calendar runs to 22 December 2027, and later sailings do not show a terminal yet.

• From the same Brooklyn terminal. Princess and Cunard are the regular lines at Brooklyn now. They sail mostly to Canada, New England and across the Atlantic, and no sailing to the Bahamas or Bermuda on this schedule shows Brooklyn. The Brooklyn terminal page lists them all.

Does Virgin Voyages still sail from New York?

Virgin Voyages does not sail from New York on the official Cruise NYC calendar after 19 October 2026. Valiant Lady's last call there is that day, at Brooklyn, and no Virgin ship appears after it through 22 December 2027. This site lists no Virgin sailings.

Cruise Hive reported on 8 March 2026 that Virgin had no New York deployments through fall 2027. Virgin's own FAQ still calls Brooklyn its "current NYC homeport", so look for a sailing date before you rely on that page. The table above works as a list of alternatives for Virgin too.
